The Utility Management and Conservation Association (UMCA) held its quarterly board meeting on Thursday, November 4th in Louisville, Colorado. Scott Deshone, President ATI Energy Group and Chairman of the UMCA presided over the meeting which covered topics ranging from the financial health of the organization, newly appointed Executive Director Thanya Gonzalez, new membership recruitment, and the ongoing development of the UMCA's regulatory database. Other executive board members in attendance were Vice Chairman Kim T. Cole of Minol USA, Secretary Troy Hull of IMS, and Treasurer Jim Nehl of Meterlogix. Directors attending the meeting were Arthur Blankenship of Argen Billing Systems, Martin Levkus of Yardi Energy Billing Systems, Curt Thompson of Apex Billing Solutions and Mark Jarman of Inovonics.
The Utility Management & Conservation Association (UMCA) is a trade organization dedicated to raising awareness of the “Green Lifestyle” within the multifamily industry. Our members promote energy conservation and personal accountability by supporting resident submetering, billing and utility management programs. This is specific to but not limited to electricity, gas, trash, water and sewer.
